Returns & Refunds Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy, we offer a straightforward 30-day returns policy.
Your right to cancel Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving a reason. We extend this to 30 days as a goodwill gesture.
How to return an item To start a return contact us within 30 days of receiving your order at: hello@solarpanelkitshop.co.uk. Include your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for your return. We will respond within 1 business day with return instructions and a returns authorisation number.
Condition of returned items Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. Kits that have been partially installed or used may be subject to a partial refund depending on condition. All components included in the original kit must be returned.
Return postage If you are returning an item because it is faulty or we sent the wrong item, we will cover the cost of return postage. If you are returning an item because you have changed your mind, you are responsible for the cost of return postage. We recommend using a tracked delivery service as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.
Refunds Once we receive and inspect your return we will process your refund within 5 business days. Refunds are issued to your original payment method. You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed. Please allow a further 3 to 5 business days for the funds to appear in your account depending on your bank.
Faulty or damaged items If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault within 30 days of delivery please contact us immediately with photos of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. Items developing faults after 30 days may be covered under manufacturer warranty — contact us and we will assist you with any warranty claims.
Items excluded from returns The following items cannot be returned: items that have been custom configured to your specification, items damaged through misuse or incorrect installation, and consumable items such as fuses and connectors where the seal has been broken.
Exchanges We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different product please return your original item for a refund and place a new order.
